Bansko is one of the best-known ski resorts in Bulgaria. The Pirin mountain endows the city with an abundant snow cover in winter and a majestic green robe in summer.
Bansko has a character and a spirit. The beautiful, cobbled streets, small shops and restaurants with delicious specialties wind around the city square. The bell ringing from the church of St. Trinity attracts people from around the world.
In Bansko is the birthplace of Neofit Rilski, the ‘patriarch of Bulgarian teachers and writers’, author of the first Bulgarian grammar and creator of the first Bulgarian globe. The majestic mountain and nature around Bansko also aroused the imagination of another Bulgarian, a master of the pen. The poet Nikola Vaptsarov was also born in Bansko.
Pirin National Park offers you remarkable views, over 50 marble and granite peaks with a height of over 2500 m, 170 lakes, including Banderishki, Vasilashki, Prevalski and Popovi lakes, and waterfalls, among which are the famous Demyanishki skok, Sveti Nikola and Yulenski skok.
We travel 7 days a week to and from Bansko.
