General terms and conditions for using Customer Cards

I. Issuance of a Customers Card

  1. A customer card can be issued to any individual who has reached the age of 14. A condition for the issuance and use of the customer card is the completion of the Consent for the processing of personal data by Union Ivkoni Ltd. for the purposes of preparation, provision and use of cards for travel discounts. If the required data is not filled in correctly, the CARD ISSUER is not obliged to issue the customer card

II. Using a Customer Card

  1. The customer card is personal, registered, and non-transferable. If the card is speculated to be used, it will be disabled. When using the client card, you must certify that you are its owner.
  2. The card is not a payment method.
  3. When issued, the customer card provides a 10% discount on the standard price of a bus ticket for travel. The discount is applied to the purchase of tickets with a price above 6.99 BGN.
  4. The card issue date marks the start of a 6-month period in which you can progressively increase your discount up to 30%. After each trip, you will automatically receive a survey at the e-mail address you provided when activating the card. After completing and submitting the first survey, your discount will increase to 20%. On your next trip, you will receive a follow-up survey, the completion of which will increase your discount to 30%. The progressive discounts of 20% and 30% are valid for a period of 6 months starting with the issuance of the card. After the expiration of this period, the discount is restarted, i.e. returns to the original 10% level.
  5. Only one ticket for a specific destination, day and time can be purchased with your customer card. The total number of your journeys is unlimited for the period of validity of the card.
  6. Customer cards are valid only on the official website of the company and in the network of offices and ticket offices managed by Union Ivkoni Ltd. The cards are not valid and may not be recognized by other merchants authorized to sell company bus tickets.
  7. To ensure the best prices for the transport service we offer, we work with dynamic prices for international journeys, which depend on the bus occupancy, the date of travel and other factors that determine the price. You see on our web site the standard price and the dynamic price of the trip, the parameters of which you have set. All discounts (from cards, vouchers, promo codes) are accumulated on the standard price of the ticket. If the dynamic price provides you with a greater discount than the one you have from a card, voucher or promo code, the system will apply the price that gives you a greater advantage, i.e. lowest price possible. The discount from a customer card cannot be combined with other discounts, such as those for students and pensioners, for example. It cannot be combined with promotional offers either.
  8. The discount from your customer card is only valid for the purchase of bus tickets and does not apply to the other services that our company offers.
  9. The customer card can be used on all Union Ivkoni, Grup Plus, Etap Adress and UniBus lines.

III. A lost, damaged, or destroyed card

  1. If you lose, damage or destroy your customer card, you can request the issuance of a new one, but at the time of its issuance, you will have the initial discount of 10% available. In case your old card had a higher level of commercial discount, it will not be preserved when reissuing the new customer card.

IV. Term of the General Terms and Conditions for using Customer Cards and conditions for termination

  1. The right to use Customer Cards is unlimited and may be terminated by Union Ivkoni Ltd. or by the cardholder with prior notice at any time. The cardholder sends his notice of termination to the address: 1000 Sofia, 17, Tsar Ivan Shishman Str. or it is sent to the administrative email address for contact with Union Ivkoni - office@union-ivkoni.com. It is necessary to indicate the Cardholder's name and the number of the Customer Card in his possession.
  2. Union Ivkoni Ltd. has the right to unilaterally change the current General Terms and Conditions for travel, as well as the General Terms and Conditions for the use of customer cards after they are published on the Company's website.

V. Limitation of Liability

  1. THE CARD ISSUER is not responsible for the non-implementation of the client program or for errors in its implementation due to force majeure within the meaning of the Commercial Law, as well as for a malfunction of the software for selling tickets at the physical sites (offices and cash desks of Union Ivkoni) or online which was not caused by his fault.
  2. In case of questions related to the use of personal data by the Company, the Clients can contact the personal data protection officer of Union Ivkoni Ltd. at email: t.bolen@union-ivkoni.com, who will review their inquiry.

VI. Other provisions 

  1. The provisions of the Bulgarian legislation will be applied to the issues not settled in these General Terms and Conditions.
  2. These General Terms and Conditions for the use of Customer Cards are effective from 01.02.2024.
