Changing the route of some buses due to major road reconstruction in Sofia

Dear passengers, the first stage of the complete reconstruction of Oplchenska Str. from the intersection with Slivnitsa Blvd. to Todor Aleksandrov Blvd. has begun. It is planned to be completed by March 2025.

The repair works affect the movement of buses that serve regular bus lines from the Central Bus Station in Sofia to Gotse Delchev, Katuntsi, Ognyanovo and Petrich. For the duration of the reconstruction, the buses to these destinations will leave Sofia via the Lyulin Motorway, not via Tsar Boris III Blvd., and will enter the city in the same way.

The route for the lines to Pernik, Dupnitsa and Kyustendil is changing as follows:

Serdika Bus Station - Hristo Botev Blvd. - Todor Aleksandrov Blvd. - Opalchenska St. - Russian Monument - Gen. Blvd. Totleben - Tsar Boris III Blvd. - Zapad bus station / Ovcha Kupel bus stop. When entering Sofia, the buses will follow the same route reverse.
